Herception: A Female Perspective

We’re always going in circles. Because she’s always steering the discussion right… back to how she sees things. Everything should be given a pass, because there’s always justification. In a woman’s world there would be no earthquakes. For there’s no such thing as a fault line. You feel like decisions are made by a higher power; that you cannot explain. She’s just difficult. Its so much easier to throw out physics, scientific laws, and mathematics.

Its amazing to feel connected to a woman. The electricity. They can make you do anything. But, it’s also good to be grounded. Otherwise, like those fault lines, her electric touch leaves you with a whole lot of shaking going on. A man can only take so much. The heart is human.

But through love and faith you can forget science and math. Compromise with her. See it her way. As Tyler Durden says, “You need to forget about what you know. That’s your problem. What you think you know about life, and friendship, and especially about you and me… Just let go.” Feel free to do anything. Let her take you anywhere. Let love be the only perspective.

A Needs Based Conversation

    a Michael L. Craver story As time goes on, I find myself writing less. Developing ideas through conversation, making notes, and thinking about them often suffices. There was a period in my life where I spent most evenings in silence, but writing anything that motivated me. This helped ask myself objective questions about all thoughts; breaking down various points of view to see where I could be misguided. For a couple years this written process had evolved to audio recordings. Thinking out loud with no regard for length. Even then, I had notes ahead of the occasion to remind me of key elements I needed to juxtapose to find the truth. We'd been at the hospital four days waiting for the right circumstances. After induction, they kept a monitor on mother and child. Finally, they moved us just outside the delivery rooms. There were a few questions and rules of etiquette... Until the heart monitor began to show dangerously low readings. There would be no time to for the ideal. Our game plan changed instantaneously from traditional delivery to life saving surgery. In a twist of fate, the umbilical cord was wrapped around baby's neck.
